Why is my hen doing this?

I have 1 roo and 9 hens. One of my hens is going around and pecking at all the others butts. I have noticed that most of the other chickens all have plucked butts under their vents. I assume that the culprit is this one hen. I give them scrambled eggs and other proteins and they have more than enough room in the coop and run.

Anyone know why she would be doing this?

Well, once they start, you need to take car of the problem. You can take that hen out and isolate her and see what happens. Generally though, hens will pluck one another if blood are a noticalbe skin redness has occured. you can go get rooster booster and put this on the affected areas. This seems to help them stop picking each other.

Have you looked for mites? Could she be "cleaning" them?
