I was afraid 5 miles might not be far enough.

Call the DNR and tell them it is attacking you whenever you go in the yard.
If you happen to have small children who would also be attacked then mention that.

If you think an accident is imminent don't call anyone.

A friend of mine said the he hunts geese! He said that they are really good. He said I could bring it to him any time!

It isn't hunting season and waterfowl are highly regulated. Call the DNR.

Tell the game warden you have a goose that keeps attacking you and you think it may be sick since its acting so weird. You are afraid to go in the yard and it could hurt a kid. They will come get it or tell you to kill it.

I would think you could legally kill any wild animal that attacked you, but that could vary by area. The old SSS works too.
