Flowers squealed, bared her teeth, and thrust herself between the filly and her sire.

Both Apache and the filly went bolting away from Flowers, though both went in different directions.
Flowers squealed at the sudden movement. She stomped her hoof and whinnied, calling her filly back.

She still had a long way to go, in the means of motherhood.

Diablo stood on top of a small rise, surveying his herd below. The paint stud lifted his head to the wind and let out a loud whinny, to warn off other studs and attract mares.
Winona, the lead mare, raised her fine palomino head when she heard her stallion's whinny. A tiny, newborn colt nursed by her side. He was the color of soot with a white blaze that crooked to the left side on his face.
Calypso rolled on the grass, her growing belly making it difficult. Although Diablo predicted that she would not have twins this time, the gray mare was still antsy to give birth.

Apache had stopped quickly and was facing his mate.

The filly had run farther, but now, she'd stopped and had turned to face the others.

Windstar had surprisingly disappeared from Diablo's herd. Close to foaling, she had wanted isolation, but had wandered farther than she'd intended. Now, the simple-minded dun was just lost.

Sundance stood off to herself, kicking almost constantly at her belly. Apache hadn't made her feel this miserable.

Bandito pranced along a small ridge, keeping an eye on Rose.
Rose was growing bored with Bandito. He'd never bothered to court let alone mate her. He was company, but that had been it.

Eliza grazed close to Zachorzy, her filly by her side. Kale pranced a few yards away.
Zachorzy had his eyes half-closed. For the moment, his mind was in a state of complete peace, and he liked it.

(wasn't I RPing Ziana, the filly?)

Dawn wandered away from the herd to foal. She followed Windstar's trail.

Violet flashed a smiled towards Coal. "Nice to meet you."
(never mind. found them)

Coal flicked his tail, gazing at Violet. "Same."

He gave the filly a once-over and shifted his weight uneasily. Time-honored instincts were telling him to court her.
