but with all seriousnes how do I trap it ? what lure should I use? I dont want a dead rabbit body in the basement..

I just use a net when I have to get one out if the window well. Catch it, carry it out in the net and then put the net down

How about a live trap? Use bait like fresh green grass or vegetables. When/if you catch the rabbit, relocate it somewhere else.
