OK here is the skinny,
We have hatched several batches of eggs over the years and this go round we came to a small problem. On day 18 the wife and I were taking the eggs out of the turner and before we knew it we cracked on egg the sent the shell into 10,000 directions. We did find part of the shel still intact and put the egg back in the incubator. Now comes the tricky part, the membrane has been punctured, the chicken has moved a bit and fluid mixed with blood seeped out of the membrane. The question to this drawn out explanation is What do we do? Premature Hatching? Leave in the bator and let what happens happen? or What??
Thanks You.
