Will Fowl Pox Run Its Corse

I've read some of the post about fowl pox. I'm now confused will the pox run its corse and the chicken get well or do they need meds. If meds are needed what kind. If my rooster has the pox it would be the dry kind black spots on his comb.

all of mine just had it, if its the dry kind put iodine on all the spots and give him plain unflavored yogurt with cheerios crushed up and itll go away in about a month it gets worse before it gets better but it will go away and im pretty sure its like chicken pox in humans once they have it once they dont get it again mine are all fine now
