Winter chicks: reducing daylight hours to prevent early egg laying

@Aunt Angus and @Poodlemum Thanks to you both for your info! We currently have ~12 hour days in Albuquerque. It's sounding like most people don't worry about the light and day length for chicks hatched in the off-season, and don't have problems with early egg laying, binding, prolapse, etc. I moved my girls out to their coop today, and tonight will be their first night there. We'll see how things go!
