Too much water, okay got it! I’ll replant them and cut back on water! Some of them definitely need nitrogen. The pictures aren't clear enough to really see it, but my guess from what I do see would be too much water.

I water mine once every evening. if that gives you an idea on how much water to give yours.Too much water, okay got it! I’ll replant them and cut back on water!
Ugh I know! It gets so warm in there during the day then plummets at night. Sometimes I hate Wyoming!ahhh. so sad!
I wonder if they just do much better directly sowed in the ground. I’ll plant some directly in the ground in a few weeks and be able to compare the outcome.I water mine once every evening.
yes! directly in the ground they come up stronger! they are hardy and even grew thru winter here which was about 30F or lower.Ugh I know! It gets so warm in there during the day then plummets at night. Sometimes I hate Wyoming!

That is so amazing, i had no idea! Maybe I could even start some this weekend. Temps are in the 60s/70s during the day and upper 30s/40s at night. I’ll have to try it.yes! directly in the ground they come up stronger! they are hardy and even grew thru winter here which was about 30F or lower.
Thank you! I’ll see what I can come up with this weekend. We have to do a little bit of work to devise a way to keep the chickens out anyways, so a little border is in line with that.with those temps you should have some luck. Maybe make a wood border around the area where you are going to plant them and keep a frost blanket doubled maybe on them during the night until they sprout. Just to keep it warm.
sounds great! you will have to keep us updated.Thank you! I’ll see what I can come up with this weekend. We have to do a little bit of work to devise a way to keep the chickens out anyways, so a little border is in line with that.
