Keme took this as she would just wait. So he walked over to a slightly higher part of ground, and lifting his muzzle to sky, let out a long blood curdling howl that echoed throughout the valley

Pike heard his howl. He pinpointed where it was and then pointed his nose to the sky and howled in response. He quickly made his way through the forest and headed towards where Keme was.

Skye woke up some time later, and blinked in the winter sun. She hadn't realised she fell asleep

Ash flicked an ear in her sleep, having half consciously heard the howl. She rolled over onto her side, eyes still closed
