Truthfully, I don't like either one, but then, I don't like any television this time of year anyway.

We watch both. It's a Wonderful Life is one of DH's favorite movies. I love to watch a Christmas Story every year. We also seem to end up watching about three different versions of A Christmas Carol during the holiday season.
