Wood type?

I live in Canada and apparently the pressure treated wood here is different that the state's and can make the chickens sick. What kind of wood should I use for the coop walls and the posts in the run?

Pine last a long time, if you have to use untreated pine.

Can you provide more information on the type of pressure treated wood you have available, and/or what you’ve been told is the difference?
