Wowzers!

One of my EE pullets laid a olive green 3 oz egg today! The thing is huge & makes the large sized eggs my hens lay look like runts.

Unfortunately, the 3 oz egg is cracked on one side. I'm saving the egg to show my dh and kids tonight then plan to open it the rest of the way to see if it is a double yolker.

Here is a photo of Gigantor egg. Sorry the egg is dirty, but unfortunately since it is cracked it is uncleanable. For reference, the brown egg beside it weighed in at 2 3/8 oz.

Well everyone got to see the Gigantor egg, so I opened it. Double yolker w/ full sized yolks. The cats had a feast.
