I have a 7/8wo Wyandotte chick with an open wound and bone sticking out. The wing is blue past the break. Is there any way to save them?

Is that where the joint is? If so that type injury will have torn tendons, & ligaments, & will require extensive surgery which birds don't handle very well.

I don’t know if I can afford a vet amputation, is there anything I can do myself? I’d rather surrender than lose her but I don’t really want either
The amputation can be done at home. I believe there's a couple people who have done this, but I don't remember who.
