I have 5 wyandottes. 4 of various shades of blue and one black, can you help me decide if they are pullets or roos? I can get better pics if needed. Boogers sre hard to take pics of by myself, lol! They are almost 9 weeks old.

^^ pullet

^^ cockerel

^^ cockerel

^^ pullet

^^ I think pullet, but watch those wattles!

The first you say Cockrele is the black, the second is a blue. Which would you keep? Does it matter when you cross them on what colors you will get?

The blue could produce more variety offspring depending on the color of the female.

A black would be unable to produce any splash offspring - 50% black, 50% blue.

Blue X Blue results in 25% black, 50% blue, 25% splash.
