Well idk about songbird and I don't have a scale but some of our girls' first eggs were so small as to look fake. Lol I was amazed when my bantam cochin started laying and her first eggs were bigger that I think any other birds. Lol

Can't find a picture of the sl wyandottes first eggs but they were smaller than the eggs pictured which are some of my firsts. And that is a quarter for size reference
Or maybe it's a nickel aaahhhh! I can't remember!
