Welcome from another yooper!! IM/Kingsford area. Peafowl eh? I might get some eggs to hatch this year, maybe. I've got plans to add to my trio of rare Beltsville White turkeys and I've got breeding trios of Poulet Rouge, Turkens and White Chanteclers on the list this year too, so we'll see.
 
I know this is an older thread, but I'm a fellow Yooper-- actually a fellow Escanaban! ;) Just "hopping" on the chicken bandwagon myself! Preparing to start my flock, and would love any tips you have gleaned about chicken raising in cold UP winters!
