Young Hen changing colour

Hi Guys!
So here's my question: back in winter time, i had a young hen who was egg bound and almost died, i recovered her and she is not very happy in my 5 hen flock. (see profile pic)

She is a Ameraucana X Brahma and i love her colouring, she's Egg shell white and her neck and chest is dark rust.

I just noticed that since a couple of weeks, her rust is dissapearing. She is very healthy and seems to be in good shape, she was never a really good layer since her incident so i can't say if it has an effect on this. but:IS THAT NORMAL? WILL SHE GET DARKER AGAIN?
i find it very strange...

Some chickens will have a slight change in color during the molt. She may his be doing that. She might get dark again, she might stay the same. Strange how that happens
