Prolapse or yolk sack?

It has now burst and is a bit bloody. Chick is still very active … and has very long legs!

He did pass away last night. He was such a little fighter. Probably for the best.

You think it may have been intestines coming out? To me it looks like that may have been the problem, and there's nothing to fix it unfortunately.

Thanks for the hugs. He was my first hatching from quail parents I hatched and raised myself. Maybe it was a bit too soon to try. It's amazing how a tiny little thing can break your heart.
