Feed and water and hanging.

Just curious. How do you hang the feeder/water in the run? What should I use? I have a large dog kennel around the coop so i want to know what will work safely? In a way that it's easy to get at night when they're done eating.
Also any toy recommendations that chickens love. I've tried the swing and they dont like that.

My food and water are hanging inside. I use carabiners to make them easy to clip on /off when I want to move them around.

Most of my feeders are hanging from the rafters, and the waterers are standing on heater bases, up out of the litter, also in the coop. In summer, I have additional waterers outside, but not now.

I don't hang my feeders or waterers. Everything sits on top of something - the waterer sits up on a bucket, the feeder sits on an upside down pot. I get nervous that the hangers will snap if I hang stuff up, plus you need to stabilize things from swinging if you do choose to hang them up.

CHickens don't really use toys. They're pretty simple: a pile of dried leaves, some roosts or tree stumps or unused patio furniture to get up on top of, under and around.
