1. Buh-Dup! This is a normal chicken greeting, they say it to humans, other chickens, and pretty much anything!

2. Bwah! Bwah! Bwaaah.. Bwaaaahhhh.... This is a chickens way of saying "I'M LAYING AN EGG! I'M LAYING AN EGG!" You probably can tell, but they "say" this before laying an egg, some Bwahs Squeakier than another.

3. Douuu, Douuu, Douuu, This is usually a way of chickens saying goodnight. Just like Number one, They say it to humans, other chickens, and pretty much anything that's in their coop.

4. BOK BOK BUKGAWW! This is the egg song, they sing it after they lay their egg, and again, some Bukgawws Squeakier than another.

5. Bwee... Bweeee, Bweeeeee...... This is an alert roosters use to warn the flock of predators, The roosters do it, then the hens, and all the chickens being frozen in the process. Have you ever seen chickens freeze because of a helicopter?

#2 ROOSTER SAYINGS
1. Cock-a-doodle-doo!!!! This is a rooster crow, done by most roosters around 10 AM and 6 PM.
You can't prevent rooster crowing, but, you CAN buy a No-Crow Rooster collar, which muffles the crow a bit. And like the egg songs and egg laying announcements, some crows squeakier than another.

2. Ba Dup Dup Dup Dup Dup Dup! This is a way of roosters saying "Girls!! I found food!!!!" They do this with Leaves, Bugs, Grass And even Scratch Grains.

3. Bwee... Bweeee, Bweeeeee...... Read Hen Sayings Number Five.

4. Brududududud... This is usually when roosters are annoyed, or mad. Recently, I found this one out when the hens wouldn't let Barney, My Barnevelder Rooster, Around them, around 10 seconds later, he walks into the coop making that noise.

5. Bow-Dop. This is the rooster version of Buh-Dup, But this one being way deeper and longer.

How to understand chicken language on it's own
What are your chickens talking about? Laying eggs? World Domination? No One knows, But you can know pretty much everything that's possible to understand! Observe with binocluars or look from a distance, what are the chickens doing? Are they in the coop making lots of noise? look in the coop, are they arguing on what nesting box they lay in? You can tell if two or more hens are arguing over nesting boxes if the hens keep entering and exiting the box. Even sometimes hens lay on top of each other! So if you study and watch your chickens noises and behavior, you can understand pretty much anything chickens say!
