What to do if your Hen has an Sancho

Tried this in another thread but no luck. Not sure if I posted it in the correct spot. Figured I would ask you Hatchers.

Say my Prized Hen gets a Sancho. How long do I need to wait after splitting her and Sancho up befor she stops laying Sancho's eggs? Say A Buff O' mounted an Leghorn Hen. How long with that Leghorn Hen lay corss bread eggs?

the hen's eggs can be fertile for up to 2 weeks, but could stop sooner. hope this helps.

I've heard it was 3 weeks - but if you need to be absolutely,positively sure, separate them for a month.

Just what I've read in different threads around BYC - I have no personal experience!
