Can roosters live together or should they be separated?

There are too many variables to give a yes or no answer.
Usually, roosters that grow up together can live together.
Even if they grow up together, if there are too many roosters per # of hens, it won't work.
Given enough space and plenty of hens, even roosters that don't grow up together can.
Certain breeds can never be kept together.
In the absence of hens, roosters can cohabitate better.
