Broody Goose

Hi all, my goose is broody and I was wondering could she possibly adopt the 5 goslings I have at the minute? They're between a couple days to a week now, what do you think? - has anyone ever tried this? ​

Lots of people do it. Just take it slowly, and if the goose lifts her wing for them to snuggle, then you know she´s willing. usually the most difficult part is getting the babies to recognise that she´s now the mom, and to seek heat under her. If it´s a tad chilly, they soon learn. And important to check at night that they´re tucked up under her. Try it early in the day so you can see what´s happening.
