Hi , Im new to ducks ,so any help would be great, my 3 muscovy girls dont seem to eat much , they have pellets and wheat and a oat type porrage with lentals and rice that i make,
the chooks go for all of this, but the ducks take the odd pellet and a bit of wheat and i hope im doin the right thing for them.

I feed my muscovies laying pellets (they are laying) and chicken scratch, which I've cut back on now. Mine free range in the daytime and we give them maybe 3 cups of the food at night for 5 ducks. Many times they don't even eat that food overnight. Compared to my Pekins, they eat very little! (The Pekins run over to the Muscovy pen and eat the leftover food every morning.)

Some of my ducks have been more picky about what they ate. Maybe try adding some fresh vegetables. Also, do they have access to natural foods—grass, bugs, etc? That makes a difference in how much they eat.

If they seem healthy, it's very possible they are eating enough.
