Please help is this a hen/roo

I bought this as a "hen" I have never owned silkies before and I can't be sure this is a purebred but even I have doubts whether she is actually a HE!! Any help appreciated

Do you know how old "it" is? I'm leaning towards rooster.

I'm leaning towards pullet, but I'm not 100% sure. Silkies are hard to sex until they either crow or lay an egg.

I'm leaning towards cockerel due to the saddle feathers.

No idea to be completely honest I haven't had silkies before so couldn't even hazard a guess

Would anyone have an idea at about what age a silkie will start to crow or lay an egg?

X3, think I am seeing roo saddle feathers on the bird. Silkies can be really late bloomers so far as crowing or laying eggs go, most pullets probably start laying between 6-8 months, but some can be a lot later, the cockerels may start crowing earlier.. if you have another more dominant rooster the cockerel may not crow much either.

I might have a while to wait and find out then because I have no clue how old he/she is,
