How to stop parrot from biting

What is a good positive reinforcement method of stopping a bird from biting. I recently adopted a secondhand green cheek conure and he was a biter from the beginning. His biting has escalated to where he simply wants to bite your skin because he enjoys it. If he steps up he will nibble and the nibbles will turn to bites until he tries to take a chunk out of me. He is a sweet bird but has a biting problem. I am target training him but he isnt interested and no longer wants the seed treats. If anyone has a good method to stop a bird who has dominance issues from biting please let me know. I feel like out bond is slowly slipping.

Positive reinforcement is not a means of stopping an undesired behavior -- it is a means of encouraging a desired behavior. You need to stop letting the bird get away with being a brat and correct him the way another parrot would correct him -- by bickering back. I've posted about it a couple of times before.....

Thank you his biting is a lot less. We do not allow him to have long contact with our hands and his target training is going splendid. I do believe he is a little brat. His previous owners allowed him to have full reign.
