I am just starting out. My husband (who is not an animal person at all) agreed to having a total of 8 chickens...I currently have 7 at home, and 4 on order to arrive in April!!

Today I joked about bringing home more and he actually said, "a bakers dozen might be good..." So now I am excitedly shopping for two more!!! Yay! My 8 jumped to 11, and now I am working on 13. I think I would like two Black sex links!

I have mainly exotics, I don't really have any layer breeds besides 5 buff orpingtons and one production red
