I posted this little guy a couple weeks ago and we weren't sure if it was a cockrel.... I'm pretty sure it is a cockrel but wanted the opinion of the pros! 5 weeks old...

this is what we thought.... how frustrating that out of our 6, we got 3 roosters. we are going to try to get rid of them tomorrow at a small animal auction. not sure how that works, but I guess we will find out.

me too! we have 2 friends who also have chickens and other small animals... and we tried to pawn them off on them LOL but it didn't work.

I wish we had a lot more land and no neighbors so we could keep atleast one of them... one of our pullets and this cockrel are connected at the hip. it will be sad to separate them
