I can't believe it. Upstairs in the spare bedroom are fifteen babies, finally! Three each Barred Rocks, Ameracaunas, Golden Laced Wyandottes, Buff Orpingtons and Rhode Island Reds. Somewhat different from what I ordered, but at the time the Buff Orpingtons weren't on the list, luckily some guy ordered 25 special and then decided he didn't want them, so when the Speckled Sussex weren't available (I'd forgotten I'd ordered that kind anyways, it was so long ago) I said to substitute the Buffs. Finally!
It's so funny to watch them suddenly just lay down beak first and fall asleep - they're so tired!
Now hubby's got to get that coop finished - and the run! That's going to be a chore. But in the end it'll be worth it.
