Top view, nice tails !! 2014 chicks
Look at the back of this 2014 tiny tiny chick, it also is white, the only accepted color for the APA/ABA Serama. This chick went to a breeder who wanted to get started in Serama, The 2014 chicks are small !!
Yep we got some nice breasts on these 2014 chicks, which we had on the females in the 2013 chicks, we are hoping these are the males, as we test our sex linked double breasted double recessive gene we are breeding for. The double breast gene is a sex linked gene, roos do not express it like the hens because it is female linked. These are our first chicks that represent double recessive to bred back to carrier, which gives us all double breasted female offspring, and all carrier males :}
Our 2014 chicks are on the Ground and look at that type !! Big forward breast, arched neck, nice wings, and centered feet, off to a good start, all these chicks are sire by our 12 ounce Crele roo that won Best Type. We will put about 100 chicks on the ground from him, then rotate his smaller brother in...well maybe.
