We had lots of help with this project!
Here we go! Staking off the spot we picked on our farm to add the new building. We have designed it to be big enough to use for our 4 Boar goats as well. We have dubbed it the "Goakin House".
Finally got a real engineer on the job! Our son loves a good project too when he visits. House will be 14'x8' with a 10'x8' covered run.
Homemade trusses going up.
We had lots of help with this project!
Metal roof is on and we can move the girls into the run. I was so happy to get them out of my tack room! We put all 12 in a large dog crate and carried them up to their new home.
They had the whole run but preferred to stay in the crate at first for security.They loved flying up on top of it and roosting once they felt more at home.
Board and batton is on!
