This is what my husband built for me. It works very well and there is no waste. Also he used the cheaper drain pipes rather than PVC. The whole thing cost less than $20 and when I fill it up with food, it lasts almost 2 weeks for 11 chickens.
Congrats on your purchase. I definitely had problems setting up myself and not much sympathy from the Brinsea customer service but, once I set up the first one, I had no problems setting up the next one. It is a little tricky and I wish Brinsea would make a how-to video.

That's good. My chickens are behind my garage too and my husband constantly complains of flies, even though I clean a lot. I blame the dogs for the flies myself LOL
Hi there, I just set 28 eggs in my incubator right now. I always have my temp at 99.5 degrees and humidity at 45%. I don't raise the humidity until lockdown and then I set it to 65-68 (depending on how many eggs I'm incubating). I always have good hatches. I have even better hatches now that...
Also, as an aside, my chickens are never sick, have had no diseases and I have never medicated them so I personally would never feed anything other than organic. The price I pay is worth not having to pay a vet's bill.
