Golden laced polish

Hello my polish laid an egg every other day. I had 3 sliver laced hens. Unfortunately a raccoon got them this summer I have 5 polish golden laced pullers and looks to be two are roosters

We have new chicks and they are just about all feathered out to go in the coop . Put a new latch on and tightened up the roof . We didn’t catch anymore raccoons other than the one . Hopefully my chicks will be safe

I had a raccoon kill my two hens. Used the live trap and took him 10 miles out of town and released Him . Haven’t caught any since Any thoughts on raccoon proofing my coop as new chicks soon to be outside

Got the raccoon drove him 20 miles in to woods to release him

The raccoon came back last night and tried getting in the coop but no birds were in it Have a live trap now to catch it and get it out of town

I just lost my two silver laced hens. Brutally killed and looks like a raccoon. We live in town so shooting the dang thing isn’t an option Figured he unlocked the coop door So sad we’re my pets for three years . Waiting to catch the brute tonight in live trap So sad my black and grey are both...

She passed away

Also weather is normal Northern Wi weather . Treats sometimes lettuce, celery, cracked corn and oats . They all have chicken pellets for laying hens . They are able to free range when we are home

She is three years old and this is the second day she is sick I thought she was egg bound as her tail is down , her poop is yellow and runny, she sits huddled with puffy feathers. Her crop is soft and mushy. I have 3 chickens polish silver laced and they each lay an egg every other day I know...
