Am still looking for largefowl ARAUCANA chickens! Live in Alamogordo, NM and lost a trio of breeders to a neighbor dog. Have about 60 breeds of poultry to show people, but the Araucana is a personal favorite of mine. Heard that people in AZ have them, but have not been able to locate anyone...

Wow, this "right to farm" state law thing sounds like the salvation for most folks. I'll pass it on to my friends with their pet chickens on my place and suggest they look into it. They can certainly claim to have them for their eggs. Thanks for the enlightenment and encouragement.

Just lost my darling Araucana large fowl white rooster, Arnold, along with two of his daughters, to a dog visiting a neighbor. Got him from Nancy Utterback in 2006 at the big Indianapolis show. Need to know my cost of replacement, which I think will be difficult, as he was a one-of-a-kind bird...
