I have 4 chickens that are less than 2 years old and 2 that are maybe 1.5 years old. None of them have laid eggs the last two days. It is like some sort of protest. Any ideas? Nothing has changed as far as I know. Weather is nice, no stress, grazing in the yard as always.

I built my coop last year without knowing I should have a vent. Pretty mild December so far so I want to do this weekend. The problem is I didn't know I needed or should have a vent when I built the coop so there is not really a lot of room above the roosts to put a vent that wouldn't just cause...

Can't fit dog crate in run door. They did fight the first day. Was thinking of letting all run around in the yard which my old flock does. My Concern is new ones trying to get away.

it s getting cold here in NJ and I m concerned about where to feed my chicks. Do I keep food in coop or out in run? Also, any suggestions for keeping water from freezing? Last one. Water in or out of coop?
