Man I planted a persimmon tree and a peach tree this past August. Before i could get the fencing up the deer ate all the leaves off both. I'm really hoping they make it over the winter. :(

Just found fresh bay leaves in my local store. Never seen it fresh before. I'd love to grow bay leaves.

Let me tell you. When I was growing up my father would trap them using a humane trap and then he would tell us kids he was taking them to the mountains to live. Found out later he was euthanizing them with the car exhaust... :(

Maybe it's hard to tell. It's in my 30x30 garden. it seems we planted a pumpkin in the middle of our squash patch. We did not plant pumpkins this past summer. Could be a volunteer from the previous year suppose.

So strange. This guy appeared out of no where is seems. He must have been covered in leaves and or snow most of October, November and December. I’ll leave him for the chickens

Not sure how we missed this one!

My mother in law has geese. I have not known them to lay at a certain time of day. We have found eggs hidden all over the property throughout the morning and early afternoon even though they have nice, safe nesting boxes to lay in. They are very protective of their eggs.
