I would love to know what you found. We raise Red Rangers, but kept a smaller hen last year. I 'm wondering if I breed her with my RIR roo, if they would be faster growing birds than regular heritage breeds. I assume they would not be as fast as Red Rangers/

Her egg is darker one pictured. Some speckles.

It was hard to get a close pic but I thought she was a black sex link but yesterday I noticed her lightly feathered feet. Her legs are black. She does have some copper in her jacket but not much , not like my other French Copper Maran.

Is the light Sussex the only Roo you can use for Amberlink, or will a Delaware work?
