My rooster has bumble foot on both feet. There are pretty big black spots on the bottom of his feet. One is worse than the other and he wouldn’t walk anymore. We did perform 'surgery' on his one foot, cut out the infection, squeezed it, added neosporin and hydrogen peroxide and wrapped his foot...
He still has some goop on his head. I have tried twice to wet it with a wet wash cloth but it seem to really be on there. Any ideas how to get it off without harming the duck? Or do i just have to keep wetting it with a wash cloth?
The duckling is drinking water(with vitamins) by himself, he has been moved from the incubator to under a heat lamp, he is walking a lot better and chirping more! The temp is 95 right now. I have had starter food in with him since this am and im not sure if he is eating it or just playing with...
Here he is after 33 hours of being out of his shell. This was taken right after he was walking around and trying to get out :) Hopefully its normal for him to act this way....
Once again I am very grateful for all the help! I greatly appreciate it and have learned a ton! Thank you...
My duck seems to be doing better :) he is chipping alot more, starting to walk around, is dried off (I had to wash some of the stuff off his eye), he has pooped and drain some water from a eye dropper with vitamins in it. I put a towel in the incubator so he has less humidity. He doesn't seem to...
Ok thanks for all the info :) I will turn his temp down a little. And make sure the humidity is around 50%. Hopefully by the morning he isn't breathing so heavily and is dryer. I'll keep you guys updated! Thank you so much for your help!
The temperature is 99.5 degrees and the humidity is high. I don't have a incubator that has a reader. But i have a wet paper towel in there as well as water in the bottom.
It's been 8 hours and he is still resting a lot and breathing heavily... Is this normal?
When he hatched there was not...
Sorry I didn't respond earlier, I didn't get a email telling me someone responded so I didn't think anyone did. Around noon today he finally come out all on his own! However he is breathing heavily and laying down. He tries to walk but it really tires him out :(
Thank you for the info :)

It has been 43 hours. I wet the membrane this morning. Do i need to do anything else?
