Oh really?! I was told 2 days is perfect. And it should be obvious. Not so much! They chirp so loud and move a bunch. Very difficult to get pictures!

Ok so these chicks hatched Saturday and I'm trying to sex them on their wing feathers. I'm thinking this is a pullet, correct? (Will post other 2 in comments.)

We are at day 21: So far 6 have hatched live. (3 Saturday. 3 yesterday.) 1 pipped but didn't unzip. 1 pipped this morning. And 1 to go. For a first timer - I can say this has far exceeded my expectations! I assumed we'd only have 2/3, if any from what I've read, for the first hatch or 2.

Lockdown happened yesterday. This morning there was 1 pip. 45 minutes ago 2. Should have chicks soon!! So exciting!!!

Thank you! It's my first hatch, and am a nervous wreck! Way more so than with my natural child. Such an exciting yet daunting process!!
