I posted on here a few days ago. But here are my thoughts and would like to see if others agree. I found one if our 10 week old chicks just laying around will only stand up if she has to. I'm feeling like this is not an injury but instead maybe something genetic or a deformity that's getting...

There are no sores on her feet.

When she stands

Here is a picture...If you notice her right leg she uses every part to wrap around my arm, her left back toe just kind of hangs there. I'm not sure how I've never noticed it before...but it doesn't seem as big as her right one. Yes eating and drinking well. Poop is a little runny.

FYI, about 9-10 weeks old. This is the smallest of all the chicks.

My girls and I were out to let birds walk outside of their run in the yard for a bit. This one was just laying around not as anxious to pick through the grass. And was easy to pick up, normally they are scrambling around, she just sat there. Earlier she seemed shaky. She is in the house now...

There was a water spill in the coop yesterday and I was moving away the dry bedding so I could remove the wet bedding. As I was moving away the wet shavings I saw several of these little bugs. They look much larger than the red mite pictures I've seen. And they aren't really red, but more...
