Update..it was a raccoon. He's gone now, I set another trap because I seen something was trying to dig him out of the trap. Ill check that when I get home

As heartbreaking as this is, im hoping it is a raccoon and not a drake. Ill move them tonight and set a live trap. Wait to see what in it.

I didn't post picture of the pen, but its completely covered with chicken wire and a think green fencing. ( like the kind you use around a garden) wood on the bottom half

I described in another replay about the fencing. Its completely covered, but noticed that that fencing was no longer attached at the top.

Right, I think it's only been a couple days.

I noticed my duck acting a little crazy when she was got of the pen. I candled a few of her eggs that she had in her nest. Last year my other duck hatched 16 eggs so I'm somewhat familiar with all this. I'm just a little unsure still. As far as I can tell, I see no veins.

She hasn't kicked that egg out again, if it was even her that did it. Thank you
