Bought a coop now need to figure out best place to do water and feed

You can use PVC for feeders and waterers. For a waterer I used 3" PVC cut to length with a 3"cap glued on one end, then put a poultry nipple in it. That worked pretty well, and I just drilled tiny holes in the opposite end of the cap to run a thin rope through to hang it up. Just use...

Looks great. The swing and playhouse worked out really well for coop/run combo. Great idea!

    3 Week Mystery Chick!

Looks like a Welsummer to me. I have one right now that is 3 weeks old and looks just like that. That is unless I have my own confused. I have a GLW the same age tha looks like the other dark ones pictured above. I'm a new chicken owner though.

I appreciate the advice. I would love to be there to supervise an out of the pin visit twice a day but I do have a day job so I'll only be able to watch them when I am home in the evenings and weekends. Otherwise I'm afraid what might happen to them. I do want to free-range them as much as...

New Member Intro & Immediate Advice Needed

Thanks for the words of wisdom! I plan on pinning them up mostly but will let them out for a few hours each evening when I get home from work, mainly so I can keep an eye on them. My neighbor has a dog they let out in the evenings so I have to make sure and coordinate with them so the ladies...
