I would avoid putting in fridge. Scobys will not thrive with refrigeration.

Wow, pretty scobys. I cut one up every month or so and then and mix it in their fermented feed. They are not that easy to cut up though.

Yeah, I'm finding that raising chickens is forcing me to deal with loss. Probably not a bad thing since I tend to be sensitive and will have to deal with losing birds from time to time.
