:hit:hit:hitI've lost all but one egg. I am trying a new incubator and I believe the problem was that I had my humidity too high. One left and it is going strong. :fl
We finished this first one and the run. The chickens like it. It provides some shade and a very large living area. I will take pictures of the inside. We are going to paint it when the weather gets a little better.
This is a pretty good selection from our chickens. The large green ones are from an Easter Egger we bought at our local farm store. The smaller green eggs are also from an Easter Egger from the same group of chicks as the first. The light brown and tan eggs are from our bantam cochins.
Started with 9. Now down to 7. From my own flock: 1 was infertile and the second ended up with a blood ring at day 5. Still have my 6 from meyer hatchery and 1 from my bantam cochins. First picture is from day 2 and the second is day 7.
I am so excited I found this! I have some eggs coming today and I will be setting them tomorrow. Just in Time!:D
I will be setting 3 Australorps, 3 Barred rocks and possibly a couple of bantam cochin mixes.
