I'm curious too but just had foot surgery and it'll be a little bit before I can be out there to supervise and try it.

I've thought about it but haven't tried it yet as I think I would want to supervise the entire time. the two he's aggressive with both have leg issues (maybe that's why he acts like this??) and I wouldn't want him to hurt them if they were in the pen with him and couldn't get away.

We honestly can't figure out if he hates the two he harasses or if he likes them too much! We thought adding 2 more females would spread the love around a bit more!

I got these 3 chicks from Tractor Supply and they *thought* they were Easter Eggers. I ended up with 1 roo and 2 hens. The hens lay green/olive eggs. All three have varying amounts of cream color on them, plus some black. One hen has a crest, one doesn't. The roo, named Chunk, is just stunning...

Yes - they can - ours do - BUT the ducks will make a mess of the water. I have to change out the water pans a lot more often with just 3 ducks here.

I did not witness any issues before I left in terms of her being bullied. I'm thinking they started pushing her out while I was gone and hubby was at work all day and not around to observe. She took to hiding under the ramp into the coop and when he couldn't find her at night when he locked them...

She is definitely lonely. She does this sad little cluck all the time and follows me if I'm outside. Poor thing. No fun being ostracized! She's in the crate now under the tree and the flock is out around her. She seems ok with that and they seem ok with her in the crate.

I'm thinking I may set up the wire dog crate (no plastic bottom) out in the yard under a big shady tree for her. This is the same thing I've done with birds that have had some leg injuries. And I'll move her to a smaller crate in the coop at night. Hopefully this works.
