The question really is: How bad are they? Usually to get good foot feathering, most birds have some degree of vulture hocking. If it doesn't feel too hard or stand out too much, most judges let it go. It does make that foot feathering look much fuller as adults.
I would also mention that it might not have been the vent. Sometimes chicks that hatch in low humidity situation will not seal their belly buttons correctly. It's very close to the vent, so might appear to be the vent. It would look like a prolapse but would actually be a hernia of sorts. Most...
