Female or male / peahen or peacock?

Would love to get your feedback on my two peachicks. I believe the Indian Blue is peahen but just can’t tell with the other being white.

    Swollen joint

My female duck Sandy has been limping which happens sometimes to a few of them once in a while. Few days resting and they are always back to normal. I even separated my dominating male, lovingly named the AHole but also goes by Ferd, because I felt he was the reason (mating season coming full...

    Too cold for our peafowls?

Yes, they already have all of those. We went ahead and added a heater and camera to look in on them. They have been secured in the coop.

So now it's calling for -29c but feels like -44c... should I be concerned and need to do something?

    Too cold for our peafowls?

Hi! We are located in New Brunswick Canada and it's calling for -28 c Friday during the night. Should we be concerned for our peafowls? They have a 9 x 11 shed attached to their coop but it is not insulated. We are thinking about hanging a heating dish but wonder if it's necessary.

First time duckling hatching -need help

Thank you! I removed him right after your comments. We found another egg today at the same spot. Hopefully it's the last. Wondering why they are doing this? Do they know it's not viable anymore and pushing it out of the nest?

Thank you for the information! Is it an option to have surgical intervention to remove it so he could walk normal?

Curled back toe - help needed

Ok, it was scabbed over quite some time ago, there didn't seem to be much damage when the nail was lost. So do you think there is anything that can be done for his curled back toe to stop the limping in your experienced opinion?
