Thanks for the advice I read your answer earlier , soon as I came home from work I washed the roosts and cleaned nest boxes good. We have had up and down weather patterns. They have good ventilation. Hopefully this will help
We have about 30 hens a year old that have dropped their egg production, we only getting 12-15 eggs per day now. I noticed last few days in one coop they not wanting to roost like they should. I can't figure what maybe stressing them out
I have a coop with 4 red sex links they are close to 2 years old, a week ago I introduced 2 barred rocks which are also about 2 years old, after a week the new ones are still being picked on. I let them out to free range today and soon as they all went in headed to roost the picking started again.
2 boxes are good for 6 hens but in a coop large as you have I would go ahead put more nest boxes in now because keeping chickens is addictive . We started out with 6 now we have almost 40 . Lol
You were speaking of windows I have large windows on the east side because that is where the sun first comes up. That way they will start laying earlier in the day. Far as nest boxes be sure you have one nest box per four hens, I have mine 12-18 inches off floor it works good
