My friend who is a HS biology teacher is thinking of incorporating chicken hatching (I think it might have something to do with me) as part of the vertebrate unit. What have people done as HS -appropriate level projects? She knows nothing about chickens, but is open to the idea. I am her...
Yeah, I found that. In the add he only mentions replacing heating coil - but e-mailing him I find out the water bottle needs to be replaced too. He has no pictures of the actual unit, and his ad blurb is taken word for word from the McMurray website. Modesto is also about 1.5 hours drive without...
I am looking to get a used TX-6, but it needs a new heating coil and water bottle. I found both these parts readily available, but the fix-up will cost an additional $50 without shipping. Any alternate items that I can sub in? As of the moment, I am not even sure if the TX-6 is operable, I will...

Stephanie

Thanks!
ETA: I am located in the SF Bay, but will be in the Sacramento region this weekend... work has me going to Oroville Wed/Thurs.
*drool*... too bad she wasn't available when I was in MA last August. I would've swiped her up. Been looking for a well bred non-breeder female.. and wasn't a puppy! Although I was told that the adoption costs are so ridiculous here on the west coast that many people said it was cheaper to have...
We should also include a list of less chicken friendly cities, and hope they will look into changing their ordinances to reflect more on what neighboring cities have been doing successfully!
