    poop trays

I take the old pine shavings from the nest boxes & put on the poop trays. Then just add fresh savings to the next boxes. It saves money and I like that.

Building a new coop/building. Looking for ideas.

I'd suggest the panels they use for bathrooms. You can get them fairly cheap and you can hose them down. Just a thought!

    Subfloor in Coop -

I used 3/4" plywood with vinyl on top with no concrete underneath. Now, my floor is rotten under the vinyl. The floor is caving in. I have no idea how I'm going to fix this problem. For now, I put some boards on top of the vinyl and just hope it holds up until spring. I believe I will have...

    Tractor Question

I went to my local building supply store and asked for the "cover" sheets for their metal roofing. They gave me 2 pieces for free. It doesn't hurt to ask and free is always good. lol I believe the sheets were 3' x 8'.

Peep my poop board ;) Would love your thoughts....

I'm not sure how to make it stable for the hens, but yet easy for me to remove for cleaning. Just take the nails out. Then nail small blocks of wood on both sides of the 2x4 on each end. Then it is removable for easy cleaning. Good luck with you new coop. It looks great.
